Stanley Kubrick’s personal copy of Stephen King’s novel, The Shining. This well-worn book, normally housed in the Stanley Kubrick Archive in London but currently on tour in a traveling exhibition, is filled with Kubrick’s notes and comments. Many passages are highlighted, and Kubrick has filled the margins with hand-written notes that run the gamut from notating passages that inspired him, to crossing out sections he found silly.

I love taking long walks. Walking just for the sake of walking. Sometimes I see little things that I hadn’t seen before but usually not. I lose myself a little on these walks but eventually realize that I’ve been out for quite a long time.
I just met the sweetest pup at Little Five Points. Her name was Madeline. She was outside near a woman playing violin. It was so lovely.
These boots would rather be anywhere but here at work right now. :/
My inner Sith Lord can definitely get behind this.
